A Whole New City

A weekend trip that took me to the top of a Ferris wheel and to fulfill one of my lifelong dreams, eat at a Nutella Cafe. I will try not to make this post sound like it is sponsored by the city of Chicago, but this city is beautiful in late June. The first morning we had there we took a walk in Grant Park. I saw so many different types of scenery, the city, the lake, and more of a natural look with trees and flowers. The weather was perfect, not like in February where you are freezing while in a winter coat and ski pants. The city was filled with so much to see and do.

The next stop on our trip was to visit the Navy Pier. It was packed with tourist and once we got outside there were a million birds. There might not have been a million, but coming from someone who has a major fear of birds, well let’s just say I was a little jumpy. We rode the Ferris wheel and all I can say about that is I got some Instagram worthy pictures. Then, we stopped at this place that had macaroon ice cream sandwiches and donut ice cream sandwiches. I got the donut one and it was almost as if heaven exploded in your mouth.

That night we went to see Aladdin and it was spectacular. The acting was good and I especially love the genie. (PS if you didn’t catch on that’s why this post is called A Whole New City) The next morning I was on my magic carpet ride..ok maybe it was an uber, but I was going to the NUTELLA CAFE. I recommend it to anyone who loves Nutella, but they also have many things if you don’t like Nutella. I had the crepe and it was delicious. After that, it was time to head back home. 🙁

I loved Chicago. The food was outstanding. The views and atmosphere were awesome and Aladdin was spectacular. Now head on over to link2lo.com and buy your tickets now.

This isn’t actually a real ad, but I loved Chicago so much it just sounded like one. I joke around sometimes, but I just wanted to make sure we were on the same page in case it doesn’t come across over the computer.
